Patronage care via mobile integrated services for elderly and disabled people – Petrich Municipality

The development of social services in the municipality is extremely important to fight with social inclusion and in prder to secure a decent life for certain risk groups of the population. The constant aging of the population due to negative natural and mechanical growth is among the major challenges that the municipality of Petrich faces. The overall objective is to improve the quality of life and the opportunities for social inclusion of people with disabilities and the elderly by providing services in a home environment and building adequate capacity to provide them. The specific objectives of the project proposal are to develop a model for patronage care for the elderly and the disabled, including chronic diseases and permanent disabilities, and to provide hourly mobile integrated health and social services in their homes; to increase the opportunities and improve the quality of life of people with disabilities, the incapacity of working age without the possibility of self-service, and to increase their motivation for more autonomy in their lives by promoting equal opportunities for these persons.
