Patronage care of elderly people and people with disabilities in the Municipality of Harmanli

By providing of hourly mobile integrated health and social care, a network of services in a home environment aimed at disabled people and elderly people over 65, living in the Harmanli municipality will be built. Specific activities will include provision of medical care, social support and psychological counseling, according to the individual needs of each user. This will improve the quality of life and the opportunities for social inclusion of people with disabilities and older people over 65, reduce the risk of institutionalization and the process of social adaptation will be supported. Approved users will receive up to two hours per day free hourly mobile integrated health and social care according to their needs. For this purpose, medical workers, domestic assistants, psychologist, service coordinator (dispatcher) and driver will be appointed. With the opportunity to purchase a vehicle, service users in remote areas of the Harmanli municipality will be able to access their services, thus will be ensured their faster and timely service and the necessary support.
