Providing patronage care for the elderly and disabled in the Godech municipality.

Support will be focused on delivering integrated health and social services in a home environment. The provision of hourly integrated health and social services will be carried out in accordance with the Methodology developed by the Ministry of Health for the provision of patronage care for the elderly and disabled people, which was created under project BG05M9OP001-2.028-01 "Patronage for the elderly and Component 1 "and on the territory of Godech municipality, including the town of Godech and all 19 villages. All medical professionals and social services specialists who will be involved in the provision of patronage care should undergo specialized training under the program developed by the Ministry of Health. Every person in the target group can receive health and social services up to 2 hours a day. As a result of the implementation of the activities, the quality of life and the opportunities for social inclusion of disabled and elderly people will be improved, by providing a network of services in the home environment and by building staff capacity for providing them.The specific objective of the operation is to develop a model for patronage care for the elderly and the disabled, including chronic illnesses and permanent disabilities, to provide hourly health and social services in their homes. The implementation of this model is in line with the Action Plan for the period 2018-2021 for the implementation of the National Long-Term Care Strategy, approved by the Council of Ministers № 28 / 19.01.2018. The operation will provide an upgrade of the created model for provision of hourly health - Social services that will boost the results of the project "Poverty Reduction and Promotion of Social Inclusion".
