Home care

The project envisages the provision of hourly mobile integrated health and social services to 50 needy persons with disabilities and elderly people living in the territory of the Municipality of Tryavna. The service will be provided by a unit in the municipal administration of Tryavna or its subsidiary budget spending unit. For each of the users an assessment of the individual needs for health care and social activities will be prepared. For the implementation of the project, persons, preferably with experience in the provision of medical and social services, will be appointed, which will be provided through a selection mechanism. A person who will be the service co-ordinator will also be appointed. The Coordinator will manage the staff recruited to provide patronage care, prepare schedules, accept applications from potential users, and more. Inception and maintenance training is provided for the personnel providing the service, as well as 4 supervisons, which will improve the qualification of the personnel and respectively the quality of the work. To ensure the provision of the service, resources are needed to buy materials, consumables, work clothes and personal protective equipment.
