"Increasing access to affordable, sustainable and high-quality services, including health and social services of general interest - Rakovski Municipality"

This project proposal is in support of the objectives of the EU 2020 strategy, namely steps will be taken to fight poverty and promote social inclusion. The project envisages improving the quality of life and access to integrated services for the social inclusion of people with disabilities and people over the age of 65. inability to self-service, by providing family home care, but also psychological, social and health services tailored to the individual needs of the target group.For the purpose of the project, on the territory of Rakovski Municipality will be built a virtual "Center for providing integrated services in a family environment", which is created under the project "Independent life" whose newly appointed employees will provide specialized social and health services. The project provides for the care to be provided within 12 months, with a total duration of 18 months, including the establishment of the center and the selection and training of staff, the provision of integrated services and the final stage.In the center, built on the territory of the municipality, there will be services delivered mainly in a home environment by 50 housekeepers, a social worker, a psychologist and a nurse. It is envisaged that the staff will take care of up to 50 handicapped persons and persons over 65 years of age. inability to self-service, with at least 50 of them having improved access to services by the end of the project.According to the integrated and innovative nature of services in this project, individual needs assessments will be prepared initially. It is envisaged that this activity will be carried out by the specialized staff of the upgraded center by observing the principles of equal opportunities and non-discrimination and gender equality.
