With the implementation of this project, the Municipality of Panagurishte aims to continue to work towards the development of an effective system of social and health services, oriented towards the individual person, adapting to the specific needs and opportunities of the local communities, providing equal access and constantly improving their quality. The project provides for the creation of conditions for independent and decent living for persons with disabilities and over 65s in the impossibility of self-service by increasing the access to social services and their quality. This will also help to provide comprehensive support to families who primarily care for the disabled and the elderly. The project provides for services to be provided within 18 months and to cover 41 persons with disabilities and persons over 65 in the impossibility of self-service. There will be 41 individuals who will provide hourly daily care for users in the target group in their home environment. The services will be provided after an individual needs assessment has been carried out and the horizontal principles of equal opportunities and non-discrimination, gender equality will be respected. The guiding principles for the implementation of the activities will be to place the needs and needs of the individual in the center and to provide increased access to social services, according to the specific needs of the disadvantaged person, given his individual assessment. An activity related to information and publicity of the project is envisaged, in accordance with the requirements for implementation of the information and communication rules 2014-2020.
