"MIR" MOBILE TEAM - AN INNOVATIVE APPROACH TO IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF ADULTS WITH DISABILITIES AND PERSONS PROVIDING CARE FOR ELDERLY DEPENDENT FAMILY MEMBERS"

The project aims to address the need for integrated approaches to reduce the social exclusion of people with disabilities and at-risk as well as carers of dependent family members in the municipality of Lesichovo. The target group of the project are 12 people: 6 elderly people with disabilities and 6 people caring for elderly dependent family members. The overall objective of the project proposal is to pilot an innovative approach to improving the quality of life of adults with disabilities and caregivers of elderly dependent family members. Expected results: 1. Piloting the "MIR Mobile Team" approach - social services provided to 16 people; 2. Involved in motivational support and job support 12 persons from the target group, 4 - started looking for a job or have a job as a self-employed person; 3. Conducted trainings on key competences of 12 persons from the target group; 4. Improved access to healthcare for 12 people from the target group; 5. An information campaign with 4 events aimed at employers and the public. Main activities: Pilot integrated approach to improve access to employment for older adults with disabilities and caregivers for dependent elderly family members; An integrated approach to motivate and encourage labor market participation of carers of dependent elderly family members; Support for finding work and improving access to employment for people with disabilities; Improving access to healthcare and promoting healthy lifestyle; Local social activities for social inclusion.
