Care and support for independent life in Krumovgrad Municipality

Project "Care and Support for Independent life in Krumovgrad Municipality" aims to improve the quality of life and access to social inclusion services in response to complex needs, including health care for people with disabilities and people over 65 years unable to self-service to overcome the consequences of social exclusion and poverty. People in the target group will be able to choose the desired and necessary service for their specific needs based on an individual assessment of their needs. The project will provide integrated services for people with disability and for people with disabilities, combining comprehensive actions to provide long-term care, including social and health services. This will ensure the employment of unemployed people of working age and, on the other hand, will enable disabled people to use different services according to their needs. To ensure an integrated approach to the services, the staff will include experts with a different competence profile: personal assistants, home assistants, social workers, psychologists and nurses. The current project will build on the good results achieved under the "Independent Life", "Home Support", "Alternative Schemes" and other measures funded under the Operational Program "Human Resources Development" 2007-2013 as well as the New Alternatives "Funded under the Human Resources Development Operational Program 2014-2020 by applying a broader scope and spectrum of activities towards the provision of integrated social and health services and others according to the needs of the elderly and the disabled people.
