Social inclusion of representatives of vulnerable, ethnic and marginalized groups in the Municipality of Sitovo by improving access to employment, social and health services

The project proposal is aimed at socio-economic integration of representatives of the roma community on the territory of the Municipality of Sitovo and other ethnic groups of the local population in a situation of vulnerability and marginalization, people at risk and people living in a territory where there is a concentration of problems posing a risk of poverty. Due to the complex nature of the problems facing the integration of marginalized communities, the objective will be achieved by implementing an integrated approach to vulnerable citizens, combining activities in several areas - improving access to employment, health and social services. Part of this approach will also be to overcome negative stereotypes and to promote positive public attitudes towards the roma community. The project proposal involves identifying the economically inactive representatives of the target group and, depending on their specific characteristics, implementing individualized activation measures for inclusion in the labor market. Support is provided for the training of 20 persons from the target group for acquiring professional qualification and providing subsequent subsidized employment for them in the municipal administration - Sitovo. The implementation of the project proposal will lead to the provision of access to health information and the promotion of the health culture, as well as support for realization of the basic social rights of the target group. In the implementation of the activities, the needs of the persons will be placed in the center of attention. focus will be on "the individual" with his support needs, which will contribute to their socio-economic integration. The implementation of the project proposal will result in a positive impact on the representatives of the most marginalized groups on the territory of Sitovo Municipality and the Glavinitsa - Sitovo Krajunavska Dobrudja LAG by reducing poverty and promoting social inclusion.
