FOR SOCIO-ECONOMIC INTEGRATION OF VULNERABLE GROUPS AND INTEGRATED MEASURES TO IMPROVE ACCESS TO EDUCATION IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF VELINGRAD

The current project will be implemented on the territory of Velingrad municipality and the municipality, partners and associated partners will work together. It is in implementation of the municipal plan for integration policies and is related to the main strategic goals of the state policies regarding the target groups / representatives of the vulnerable groups, people at risk and / or victims of discrimination, people inhabiting territories, incl. ., rural and isolated areas, parts of settlements where there is a concentration of problems creating a risk of poverty, social exclusion and marginalization / - improving living standards by including them in the labor market, measures to increase the health culture, inclusive education, overcoming their isolation through active social behavior and tolerance on the part of civil society, thus directly corresponding to the objectives of OPHRD and OPNOIR. The envisaged activities under OPHRD are under Directions I, II, III and IV of the application conditions The planned activities under OPNOIR are related to additional activities with students from ethnic minorities at risk of dropping out of school; Improving the educational environment in kindergartens and schools, outside the Roma neighborhoods in the cities where children and students from ethnic minorities are educated in an integrated manner; Encouraging the participation of parents in the educational process; Working with parents regardless of their ethnic background to explain the benefits of educational integration and acceptance of difference; Overcoming negative public attitudes based on ethnic origin and cultural identity.
