Socio-economic integration of vulnerable groups from the municipality of Vratsa

The project proposal is a number of measures that will contribute to improving access to employment, education, training, social and health services for vulnerable people living in difficult socio-economic conditions in Municipality of Vratsa. Project partners are: OP Sports and Tourism, NGO New Road; St.Cyril and St.Methodius Primary School and Zvanche Kindergarten. The project will contribute to improving the quality of life, social inclusion and poverty reduction, as well as to the lasting integration of the most marginalized communities, incl.Roma through the implementation of comprehensive measures and the application of an integrated approach. Through the implementation of the so-called soft measures to supplement the project implemented by the Municipality of Vratsa for the construction of municipal social housing for accommodation of vulnerable groups and other disadvantaged groups under OPRD. The following OPHRD activities will be implemented: Preparation and implementation of public procurement, improving access to employment and inclusion in the labor market, inclusion in internships, inclusion in employment of persons from the target group of the project, providing individual consultations and social and health mediation to representatives of target groups, raising awareness on social and health rights, promoting family planning and raising the health culture of people from vulnerable groups. The activities under OPNOIR are aimed at measures that will be implemented by the educational institutes, project partners and NGO New Road are: creation of creative clubs, additional training in Bulgarian language, support for students from ethnic minorities, inclusion in holidays and entertainment of children from the target group, etc. Expected results: Low level of family culture; earlier dropping out of school. The problems in healthcare are the low hygienic culture; lack of health insurance; early age of birth;high level of unemployment,low level of education.
