Social realisation through shared traditions

The project will support the social inclusion and professional integration of the vulnerable group of long-term unemployed, inactive and disabled people, including those up to 29 and over the age of 54, through establishment of a new social enterprise in the structure of KASITE LTD and the opening of nine new jobs for representatives of the above mentioned vulnerable target group. Project activities include equipping the newly created jobs and providing employment for the target group for up to 12 months. We will help to change the specific social attitudes of local communities in the LAG's territory to engage in the creation of a socially responsible society supporting disadvantaged groups. As part of the project, organizational and management activities as well as information and publicity will be carried out. Specific trainings for preparing and promoting local recipes, working with the community cultural centers (chitalishta) as part of the publicity and social enterprise promotion campaign will not only promote the understanding of the territorial identity but also the recognition of the social economy as a real sector with potential for solving social problems and of utmost importance for the development of the Bulgarian society. As a result of the implementation of the activities a functioning and sustainable social enterprise - a bakery, will be created. It will be excellently positioned on the market due to the precise work of the social enterprise manager and production organizer. With its own funds KASITE LTD will provide alongside the provision of employment for 9 persons from vulnerable groups for a period of up to 12 months training and psychological support on the job and thus will contribute to increasing the economic autonomy and the independence of the persons of the target group and their social integration.
