Opening of a Day- Care Center for Persons with Disabilities and their Families, including Severe Multiple Disabilities

The project proposal foresees the opening of a Day-Care Center for Disabled Persons and their Families, including Severe Multiple Disabilities; the address is: Veliko Tarnovo, 14 Tsvetarska Str., with capacity of 30 persons. Day-care center for persons with disabilities and their families, including severe multiple disabilities, is a social service that provides day, half-day and hourly services such as care, rehabilitation, therapy, counseling, information and support, including the people, who take care of the persons from the target group in domestic environment, mobile services, replacement care for a maximum period of 14 days, and other activities. For the purposes of the Project, Veliko Tarnovo Municipality provides part of a municipal building located in the town of Veliko Tarnovo, 14 Tsvetarska Street, namely the first floor and a part of the second floor, located in a residential area of the city, near the city centre, with accessible architectural environment. The building provided is to undergo a major renovation in accordance with an elaborated investment project in the "detailed design" phase. The project "Opening a Day- Care Center for Persons with Disabilities and their Families, Including Severe Multiple Disabilities" envisages the appointment of staff to provide community-based social services and training. The implementation of the Project envisages the opening and functioning of the social service in the community "Day - Care Center for Persons with Disabilities and Their Families, Including Severe Multiple Disabilities" 14 Tsvetarska str, Veliko Tarnovo, with a capacity of 30 persons. A vehicle is to be purchased to ensure the project activities.
