Disability Support Center - Asenovgrad

The project proposal will be implemented through the provision of support under Priority Axis № 2 "Reducing poverty and promote social inclusion" OP "Human Resources Development" 2014 - 2020. National strategy for long-term care and the National health strategy 2014 - 2020 The main objective of the project proposal was to provide quality care for persons with disabilities and to approve an innovative model of social service through the establishment of a functioning "Center for Support of Persons with Disabilities, including Severe Multiple Disabilities" and their families from the Municipality of Asenovgrad. The target groups are: - Persons with disabilities at risk and their families; - Persons with severe multiple disabilities at risk and their families; The implementation of the activities envisaged in the project will create conditions and preconditions aimed at improving access to social and health care. target group services. The project is setting up a Center for Support for Persons with Disabilities and their Families, incl. with severe multiple disabilities - Asenovgrad with a capacity of 30 seats, which will provide daily, half-day and hourly services - rehabilitation, therapy, counseling, information and support. It is envisaged to repair and equip an appropriate building, as well as to purchase specialized transport for the provision of mobile services, and other support activities are envisaged, according to the specificity and needs of the target group. The implementation of the project will respect the horizontal principles set out in OPRD: Equal opportunities and non-discrimination; Gender Equality and Sustainable Development.
