Building a Disability Support Center in Troyan Municipality

This project proposal is in the implementation of the National Strategy for Long-Term Care and is an embodiment of integrated cross-sector community services for people with disabilities and their families. Within the project proposal the necessary infrastructure to provide social and integrated health and social services and mobile services to people with disabilities, including dependents and their families, will be built. The implementation of this project proposal will provide quality care for people with severe disabilities by setting up a Disability Support Center, incl. with severe multiple injuries and their families on the territory of the Municipality of Troyan. The project proposal intend to establish a Disability Support Center, incl. with severe multiple disabilities and their families in the town of Troyan, and includes construction, delivery of necessary furniture, equipment, means of transport to support the service, recruitment and operation for a period of 12 months. The capacity of the center is 30 seats for representatives of the target groups: persons with disabilities, including severe multiple disabilities at risk and their families and persons with disabilities, including severe multiple disabilities, using resident services and their families. The center will provide daily, half-day and hourly services such as care, rehabilitation, therapy, counseling, information and support, including home care, mobile care, replacement care and other supportive activities, as per specific and individual needs target groups. The construction of the center provides for the provision of basic and ancillary (service) premises, as well as space for relaxation and group work. The project will be implemented within the framework of an associate partnership with the institutions involved in the process of deinstitutionalization - MLSP and ASA.
