Support for persons with disabilities in Pernik through the establishment of a Center for Support for Persons with Disabilities and their Families, incl. with severe multiple disabilities

The implementation of the project envisages the establishment of a Day Care Center for disabled persons and their families, incl. with severe multiple disabilities with a capacity of 30 seats, providing daily, half-day and hourly services such as care, therapeutic and specialized assistance, rehabilitation, providing support for access to other services, referrals and others, as per individual needs; counseling, information and support, including carers of the target group at home, mobile care services. The center will be housed in a municipal property which will be repaired in compliance with the basic principles of accessibility, safety and functionality providing space for a variety of activities, rest space and facilities for individual consultation with professionals. The necessary equipment and furnishings will be delivered, providing a safe and secure environment, home comfort for users. The specialized equipment in the halls for physical therapy, rehabilitation, psychomotor, art therapy, etc., together with the qualified staff who will be hired, will contribute to providing quality and complete care to the needy. The Center will have the necessary vehicles equipped to provide mobile services.
