Improving access to employment and providing social and health services to marginalized communities

The project addresses intentions for initiatives in the context of the set objectives and priorities of the OP HRD and the Local community-led local development strategy of the local initiative groupTroyan, Apriltsi, Ugarchin 2014-2020 aimed at implementing measures to improve access to employment and the provision of health and social services. unlocking new opportunities to improve incomes and living standards for local communities. The project focuses on the inclusion of disadvantaged groups in the labor market. The aim is to help the most vulnerable and marginalized groups such as Roma, people with disabilities, people with low levels of education, etc., who will be able to access measures and services according to their needs. The main objective of the project proposal is to develop the socio-economic integration of the municipality of Ugarchin, improve access to employment, reduce poverty, increase the number of vulnerable ethnic communities involved in employment, education, training, improvement of social and health services with an outstanding focus on the Roma community. The main activities included in the project initiative are: -Activating economically inactive people and improving access to employment; -Improving access to social and health services and enhancing the health culture of representatives of marginalized communities; -Information and communication; -Organisation and project management. The activities are aimed at reaching different risk groups on the labor market, giving priority to marginalized communities and providing equal opportunities for counseling and helping them to drop out of the group of economically inactive people on the labor market, providing employment and supporting raising their health culture. In this way, the project initiative will reduce the disparities of people covered by the target groups and bring them closer to the average living standards in rural areas.
