Artesian studio for better future.

People with mental disorders and intellectual disabilities fall into one of the most vulnerable groups in terms of the opportunity to work in the labor market. When they are also housed in residential services, their chance of getting a job remains minimal. One major obstacle to this is the stigma, but also the lack of appropriate support so that they can regain their skills. Global research shows that work is a major factor in recovery from a mental crisis, but also the best tool for maintaining good mental health status. This project proposal invests efforts in creating an opportunity to work in a protected environment for 14 people with mental disorders and intellectual disabilities who live in residential services in the city of Lovech, by creating a branch of an existing social enterprise artesian studio "Tvorilnitsa" at GIP-Sofia EOOD, on the territory of the city. The goal of the project is sustainable integration of at least 7 people, but within the project, we will address at least 14 people with mental illness and intellectual disabilities, who will be included in training and job search programs in the common labor market. The project activities include 1. Preparation of methodologies for selection and training of individuals; 2. Conducting on-the-job training for 14 people; 3. Furnishing and equipment of artesian studio "Tvorilnitsa - Lovech"; 4. Provision of employment for 12 months to 14 people from the target group. 5. Supporting individuals by providing a mentor; 6. Providing ongoing psychological support to newly hired persons and providing programs for social integration . The result of the project envisages the creation of sustainability of the branch of the enterprise in Lovech and the employment of at least 7 people with mental disorders.
