Innovative social services for personal development of persons with mental disorders and intellectual disabilities

Within the project Bulgary Foundation will carry out activities with a minimum of 20 persons with mental disorders and intellectual difficulties, using resident care on the territory of Sofia in the following directions: In a specially rented facility and with a team of specialists-psychologists, coaches and trainer, the persons from the target group will receive the necessary individualised care and support for personal maturation and skills building for independent living safe and secure environment. The activities for the target group will include: 1. Conducting physical activities in the form of games for the development of memory, attention, perception, thinking, imagination and intellect with a pronounced entertaining character, whose purpose is to develop the cognitive, psychomotor and emotional spheres. The activities will take place in a pre-prepared program, tailored to the possibilities and conditions of the persons. The goal is through physical exercises, in the form of a game, individuals to develop their motor abilities and skills, to work in a group. This activity is expected to improve their communication and communication, as well as the concentration that contributes to their successful social inclusion, developing their own potential. 2. Complementary social, educational and psychological support These activities will improve their mental health, psychological well-being and abilities by improving self-esteem, the efficacy of self-evaluation, by reducing stress, anxiety and depression by enhancing cognitive function And by developing a wide range of skills and qualities such as collaboration, communication, leadership, discipline, teamwork. It will also support social well-being and capabilities by creating and strengthening community relationships and relationships with family members, friends and peers, create a sense of belonging and acceptance, develop positive Social attitudes and behaviours.
