"Long-term care for the elderly and people with disabilities in the Municipality of Svoge"

One of the main activities of the Municipality of Svoge as a body of local self-government is the provision of appropriate social services for the population, guaranteeing their right to support for social inclusion. Social services are a key tool for the social inclusion of vulnerable groups - activities in support of individuals for independent living, which are based on social work after a needs assessment. Project "Long-term care for the elderly and people with disabilities in the Municipality of Svoge" is part of the overall process of creating opportunities for independent living of the elderly and people with disabilities in Svoge Municipality. It is aimed at providing long-term care services in accordance with the needs of the users and is in line with the measures set out in the Action Plan 2018-2021. for implementation of the National Strategy for long-term care, adopted by the Council of Ministers № 28 / 19.01.2018.The set activities are in accordance with the built infrastructure with funds provided to the Municipality of Svoge - a specific beneficiary under procedure BG16RFOP001-5.002 "Support for deinstitutionalization of social services for the elderly and people with disabilities" from the Operational Program "Growing Regions" 2014-2020 With the implementation of the project activities will be selected personnel who will provide new social services to users, and will be carried out initial and upgrading training and supervision, will be calculated the maintenance of the complex for a period of 1 year / including salaries, compensation for each user within BGN 18,000 according to the Conditionsfor application under this procedure, rye costs /, furniture for the Center will be purchased. The number of staff will be tailored to the capacity of the services provided and the individual needs of the users of the social complex.
