Complex for adults and people with disabilities in the municipality of Vratsa

The main objective of project is to create and implement a sustainable model for deinstitutionalization of care for people with disabilities by providing quality, affordable and sustainable long-term care services tailored to the individual needs of people in the Municipality of Vratsa. The target groups are: 1. 45 adults, with mental disorders and/or with intellectual disabilities, accommodated in specialized institutions, from the SPD, from the community, and their families; 2. Elderly people over 65 with restrictions or inability to self-care are 15. 3. 56 employees of providers of social and health services who will be employed in the four centers for providing social services. Implementation of project will ensure the provision of new services in the community on the territory of the Municipality of Vratsa,for which the appropriate infrastructure has been built with funds from the OPGR. Implementation of project will last 18 m., and activities related to preparation, public procurement, selection, hiring and training of staff and development of internal rules, provision of services will be performed.The provision of services will be carried out for a period of 12 m. and will meet the needs of 60 users.Project will provide support to target groups by opening 4 residential social services-Center for care of people with mental retardation with a capacity of 15 seats, Center for care of people with mental disorders 2 with a total capacity of 30 seats and Center for care of the elderly in inability to self-care with a capacity of 15 seats, on the territory of Vratsa municipality.The need that will be met through the implementation of the project is the target groups to receive accompanying social services in the community.The expected results are related to expanding the scope of social services in Vratsa municipality by building capacity for residential care for people with disabilities and elderly people dependent on care by the target groups of the project.
