New long-term care for the elderly and people with disabilities in the municipality of Lovech - Stage 2 - provision of new services

PP "New long-term care for the elderly and people with disabilities in the municipality of Lovech-Stage 2-provision of new services" is prepared according to the requirements of the procedure and is in the context of the overall process of creating opportunities for independent living of the elderly and people with disabilities by providing quality, affordable and effective cross-sectoral long-term care services, according with the real needs of people in the community. PP is in accordance with the Action Plan 2018-2021 for the implementation of the National Strategy for Long-Term Care and is part of the overall process of deinstitutionalization of care for people with disabilities and the elderly. PP will provide support to the target groups by opening a new service for residential care-Center for care of people with mental disorders. The service will be provided in the newly built infrastructure under the project "Support for deinstitutionalization of social services for adults and people with disabilities in Lovech". The center has a capacity of 15 seats and aims to provide a range of services and support for people with mental disorders who need help to carry out their daily activities and/or need constant medical care for a long period of time. Through deinstitutionalization of the care for the people from the target group, the most important conditions for guaranteeing their rights will be created, opportunities for living in peace and close to family will be provided with the necessary normal living conditions, professional support, emotional and mental stability, social contacts and community life. The implementation of the project will create and implement a sustainable model for deinstitutionalization of care for people with mental disorders through the provision of quality and sustainable long-term care services in the Municipality of Lovech. The implementation of the project will last 16 months, and the new service will be carried out for 12 months.
