Sustainable integration through increased motivation and employment

The project "Sustainable integration through motivation and employment" envisages joint efforts of two partners: ENERGY SUPPORT 2011 EOOD employer and "ROMA FOUNDATION" - LOM - a non-governmental organization with many years of experience and work among the Roma community, supported by a training organization creating conditions for promoting the inclusion of the labor force and the participation in the labor market of unemployed and economically inactive persons from the Roma community of all age groups. The project aims to improve the life and create appropriate conditions for the sustainable integration of marginalized communities and socially excluded Roma, while respecting the principles of equality and non-discrimination through increased awareness, motivation, employment and improvement of social services among the Roma community four Roma neighborhoods from the territory of Lom LAG. Included are the activities from Strand I: “Improving access to employment”: Activation of economically inactive people, Providing motivational training, Providing employment: Strand III: “Improving access to social and health services” Raising awareness of the representatives of the target group about social and health rights. Improving the health culture. As a result of the project, 20 unemployed Roma will receive motivational training and personal counseling,15 of them will be hired as builders for 6 months. With the introduction of the innovation - creation of a Mobile Center for Health and Social Counseling and Prevention with a capacity of 50 people within the project, the health culture and access to social services for Roma from 4 neighborhoods of LAG Lom - Stadium, Humata will be improved, Mladenovo and Momin Brod. In the conditions of a pandemic and increased morbidity among the Roma community, the center has a preventive role. The project fulfills Specific Objective 3.2.of the LOM for the inclusion of people from risk groups in the social and working life of community.
