"Patronage care for the elderly and disabled in the municipality of Stambolovo"

The project is aimed towards the creation of "Patronage care" on the territory of Stambolovo municipality, intended for people over 65 years of age with limited ability for self-care, including people with disabilities and their families, citizens whom are in need of hourly services and people quarantined by health-care authorities, thus protecting the public interest and the needs of the population to prevent the spread of COVID-19. A large part of the population over 65 years of age whom have sustained the ability to live indepentently, suffer from serious concomitant health problems, and thus fall into the "risk group" of people whom would fare badly agains the symptoms and/or suffer severely from complications from COVID-19 infection, a high percentage of the described persons have disabilities and are in need of apropriate support. The elderly with chronic illnesses and permanent disabilities will be provided with the opportunity to purcase food, necessities as well as medicines. The service will be provided directly to the homes of the users by persons commissioned by "Patronage care" as delivery 4 personnel, working on a schedule, designed by the project assigned dispatch manager. The contact information of the involved personnel will be provided to the mayors and will be present at the municipality web page. We project that services will be provided to at least 23 persons, with the possibility to include more as the project timeline progresses, according to their stated needs and the quarantined persons list of RHI Haskovo.
