Patronage care for the elderly and persons with disabilities

This project proposal is for the provision of patronage care for the elderly, disabled, and the elderly at risk. Dolna Banya Municipality will hire staff to provide emergency care services for the COVID-19 pandemic. Employees will supply food, foodstuffs, medicines and essentials to the needy, which are purchased with consumer funds. People in need could also be assisted in paying their household bills or in requesting and receiving urgent administrative services. The personnel employed under the project will be provided with personal protective equipment and disinfectants. The aim of the project is: Improving the quality of life and opportunities for social inclusion of people with disabilities and the elderly in Dolna Banya municipality by providing a network of services in the home environment and building adequate capacity for their provision. The activities that will be implemented under the project are: 1. Selections and staff hiring to provide services to overcome the effects of coronavirus. 2. Supply of food, foodstuffs and essential products, incl. medicines (purchased with consumer funds or by means other than the contract), payment of household bills, requesting and receiving urgent administrative services (consumer funds or other means other than the contract). 3. Provision of personal protective equipment and disinfectants for the service providers. Through the project will be supported minimum 27 persons: : elderly people with disabilities, disabled people and adults at risk.
