The implementation of the project "Patronage Care for the Elderly and Disabled in the Municipality of Karnobat - Component 3" will satisfy the need to provide hourly services in the homes of elderly people over 65 years of age with limited or no self-care, as well as for people with disabilities and their families, people who have been quarantined by health authorities in the context of the emerging epidemic situation in the country. The implementation of the project activities will support measures during the state of emergency and the accompanying period of social exclusion, by providing a network of home-based services in order to limit people-to-people contacts and by supporting those at the highest risk of COVID -19. The activities that will be implemented under the project are: selection and recruitment of staff to provide services for overcoming the effects of COVID -19; delivery of food, food and necessities, incl. medicines (purchased with consumer funds or other than mentioned in the contract), payment of household bills, requesting and receiving urgent administrative services (consumer funds or other than mentioned in the contract).
