"Provision of patronage care for elderly and disabled people in Kozloduy municipality"

The project "Provision of patronage care to the elderly and disabled in the municipality of Kozloduy" includes public resources to support the measures during the state of emergency and the accompanying imperative period of social exclusion throughout the country. By providing home-based services and limiting people-to-people contacts, the goal is to protect the health of those most at risk of COVID-19. The main activities of the project are: 1. Provision of services for overcoming the effects of coronavirus for the elderly over 65 with limited or no self-care, for persons with disabilities and their families, for persons under quarantine and for whom there is a social need for hourly services in the municipality of Kozloduy; 2. Provision of personal protective equipment and disinfectants for the service providers. The project will be administered at an office of the Municipal Administration - Kozloduy. The service staff will consist of home helpers performing home deliveries. The project duration is 10 months. The number of consumers is 77, and they are intended to supply food, food and necessities, including medicines, payment of household bills, requesting and receiving urgent administrative services (with consumer funds). The implementation of the project will improve the quality of life and facilitate access to services for vulnerable persons, including people with disabilities or self-care, as well as for persons in quarantine.
