About 5,561 elderly people over 65 years and about 2,217 people with disabilities, incl. children, are registered in the territory of Studentski District, Sofia Municipality. Following the declaration of state of emergency in the Republic of Bulgaria, in view of the provisions on restriction of movement of people, residents of the region are in dire need of the assistance that we wish to provide them by providing hourly home services of deliveries of vital products and medicines for their survival and protection. In the time of the pandemic of COVID-19 and the accompanying recovery period, it is necessary to mobilize sufficient resources to prevent and ensure access to services of older people over 65, as well as people with disabilities and their families quarantined by the health authorities which are most at risk of the COVID-19.
