The Coronavirus Disease Outbreak (COVID-19) has been declared a public health emergency of international concern and the virus has already spread to many countries and territories. Every day, new facts are learned about the impact of COVID-19 on people, but it is undoubtedly proven that the most endangered group is the elderly persons , people with co-morbidities, people with disabilities who are most at risk of the development of severe symptoms. COVID-19 has also created an exceptional situation in Borovo Municipality, which can be addressed with specific measures to support and protect the most vulnerable groups of infection set out in this project. After the state of emergency, public services were closed or access to them was severely restricted. At present, only grocery stores, pharmacies and bank offices operate in the country. In view of the provisions restricting the movement of persons, it is necessary for local authorities to create conditions for the provision of vital products to the public in order to protect them. Therefore, it is to hire motivated people to help the most deprived in the territory of Borovo municipality through the main activity of the project: Provision of patronage care service in Borovo municipality. The activity will be implemented in sub-activities that are chronologically linked: 1.1 Recruitment of patronage care staff in Borovo Municipality; 1. 2 Consumer Needs Assessment in Borovo Municipality; 1.3 Provision of patronage care to the target group; 1.4 Transport of personnel providing services from / to the homes of persons; 1.5 Provision of personal protective equipment and disinfectants to service providers.
