GIVE HAND IN CRISIS SITUATION

The project proposal is in line with investment priority No 3, specific Objective 2 to investment priority 3 "reduction of the number of elderly and disabled people accommodated in institutions by providing social and health services in the community, incl. Long-term care services ". The project will be implemented in the implementation of the already built model for providing hourly mobile integrated health and social services for the elderly, and will build on the results under the project "Home care for independent and dignified life". The project was implemented by BRC with MLSP and Ministry of Health with funding from the Swiss Agency for Development and cooperation. We will build on the model of providing hourly mobile integrated health and social services by procedure through direct provision of grants BG05M9OP001-2.040 "Patronažna care for elderly people and persons with disabilities – component 2". The main activities of the project are related to the supply of food, food products, basic necessities and medicines to the homes of people over 65 years of age with limited or inability to self-service; People with disabilities and their families and adults at risk – individuals and families quarantined and single parents with children up to 12, who are unable to leave their children alone, as well as persons depending on care, due to disability, immobility or inability to independent and self-living. Food products and medicines will be delivered and household expenses will be paid with the funds of the consumers. If necessary, assistance will be provided and assistance in ordering and receiving urgent administrative services. Dragoman Municipality will provide a car for transport to and from the homes of the target groups. The project will provide personal protective equipment and disinfecting detergents for the staff providing the services.
