Patronage care in the Izgrev area

The project "Patronage care in the Izgrev region" is aimed at improving the quality of life and opportunities for social inclusion of people with disabilities and the elderly, by providing a network of services in the home environment and building adequate (material and human) capacity to provide them in the Izgrev region of Sofia Municipality in relation to the prevention of vulnerable groups of the population from the consequences of COVID 19. The project will cover a total of 65 persons in the territory of the "Izgrev" CO area - elderly people over 65 years of age with limited or no self-care; people with disabilities and their families; adults at risk / dependent persons due to disability, immobility or inability to lead an independent life or quarantined persons in connection with COVID-19, or a single parent (s) with a child up to 12 years old who are unable to leave their children alone. Activities will include the selection and recruitment of staff to supply food, food products and necessities, incl. medicines (purchased with consumer funds or by means other than the ones under the contract), payment of household bills, requesting and receiving urgent administrative services (consumer funds or other means other than the ones under the contract). The hired staff will be provided with means of transportation to and from home, as well as personal protective equipment and disinfectants. Employees who will be engaged in home visits will be provided with an appropriate certification document - a card issued in the appropriate order by the municipality, to certify their work engagements both to control bodies and to consumers.
