Patronage care for the elderly and the disabled in Banite Municipality - Component 3

The project provides the provision of hourly mobile integrated social services, such as the established network of home-based services in Banite Municipality, as well as limiting people-to-people contacts, supports the persons most at risk of COVID-19. support measures throughout the country-wide state of emergency. The implementation of the project takes into account to the greatest extent the needs of the community in the municipality of Banite - the population is aging, with a high percentage of people with disabilities and with no self-care.The settlements are scattered and few, often without grocery stores, many of which lack public transport. There is only one pharmacy in the municipality located in the village of Banite. The activities of the project are aimed at elderly people over 65 with limited or no self-care, as well as people with disabilities and their families, people quarantined by health authorities and who need hourly services - at least 31 users.Services are provided by hiring appropriate staff, the services include the provision of food, food and necessities, including medicines, payment of household bills, requesting and receiving urgent administrative services; For their realization it is envisaged to provide transportation of the personnel providing services from / to the homes of the persons, as well as to provide personal protective equipment and disinfectants. In order to provide the necessary mobility, it is envisaged to use the municipality's transport or to rent an appropriate one, incl. employees' personal cars.The necessary hygiene materials, disinfectants, medical devices and personal protective equipment are also provided. The implementation of the project will provide access to basic public services and improve the quality of life of the most deprived persons of the target groups.
