Patronage care in the Mladost area

The project "Patronage Care in the Mladost Region" aims at improving the quality of life and the opportunities for social inclusion of people with disabilities and the elderly, by providing a network of services in the home environment and building adequate (material and human) capacity to provide them in the Mladost Region of the Sofia Municipality in relation to the prevention of vulnerable groups of the population from the consequences of COVID 1. The project is aimed at a total of 247 persons on the territory of Mladost Municipality. These are the elderly over 65 with limited or no self-care; people with disabilities and their families; adults at risk / dependent persons due to disability, immobility or inability to lead an independent and independent life or quarantined persons in connection with COVID-19, or a single parent (s) with a child up to 12 years old who are unable to leave their children alone. The project activities will include the selection and recruitment of staff and the delivery of food, food and necessities, incl. medicines (purchased with consumer funds or by means other than the contract), payment of household bills, requesting and receiving urgent administrative services (consumer funds or other means other than the contract). The hired staff will be provided with means of transportation to and from home, as well as personal protective equipment and disinfectants. Employees engaged in home visitation will be provided with an appropriate document card issued by the municipality in the appropriate order to certify their work commitments both to control bodies and to consumers.
