"Krasno Selo District - Closer to Citizens - Patronage Care"

The COVID-19 pandemic has created extraordinary circumstances requiring measures to support and protect the most vulnerable groups in health and social aspects of the population - the main activity and responsibility of the Sofia Municipality and its district administrations. The planned project activities are: Selection and recruitment of personnel - this activity will ensure the necessary personnel providing services to address the effects of the COVID-19 epidemic. The employees will be selected with the necessary motivation and basic competence. Material supplies - In this activity the material resources will be purchased related to the necessary measures to ensure healthy and safe working conditions for the assistants, the technical aids needed for the services provided, and the transportation costs related to the activity of delivering the relevant products/services to the target groups. Provision of services, selection of customers, and operational coordination - The associates hired in Activity 1 will provide Sub-activity 1 activities, directly contacting the target groups and providing them with the project services, according to their specific needs and requests, regarding the purchase of food and medicines, payment of household bills, and rendering other services by means of the identified needy persons in the territory of the Krasno Selo district, by their own financial means. Also within Sub-activity 2 a dispatch center with a hotline will operate. In Sub-activity 3 a procedure will take place for information campaign and selection of customers, including using the hotline. Implementing these activities, Krasno selo region will achieve the following results: 230 representatives of the target groups will receive the necessary aid and assistance in the period of Covid-19 measures, and the region will expand its activity as a social service provider.
