Care for People in Slatina District - Patronage care for elderly and people with disabilities - Component 3

Project “Care for People in Slatina District - Patronage care for elderly and people with disabilities - Component 3” of the Applicant Slatina Municipality will prevent the spread of Coronavirus and protect public health and welfare of the population, while complying with the regulations of the national legislation in a pandemic situation. The main goal: prevention of the risk of social exclusion of elderly and people with disabilities, by ensuring supportive services at home. The specific goals of the project are: - Meeting the identified need for providing home services for the residents determined to be at risk in the municipality of Slatina – people who are over 65 years old with limited or no possibility to take care of themselves, people with disabilities and their families, as well as people in quarantine imposed by the health authorities, in view of preventing the spread of COVID-19. - protection of the health of people from the target group and limiting the risk of spread of Coronavirus, by ensuring material and human resources for providing home-based services at the municipality of Slatina. 151 people will be included in the scope of the project, representatives of the target group. The activities will be implemented for a period of 10 months and are the following: 1. Recruitment and hiring of staff for provision of services for overcoming the consequences from the coronavirus. 2. Organization and implementation of services at home to vulnerable persons, incl. people with disabilities or unable to self-care who are most at risk of COVID-19, as well as persons with a quarantine period.
