Patronage care in Chuprene Municipality

The project ‘Patronage care in municipality of Chuprene ’ will prevent the spread of Coronavirus and protect public health and welfare of the population, while complying with the regulations of the national legislation in a pandemic situation. The main goal of the project proposal is to establish a network of home-based services at the territory of the municipality of Chuprene, which are oriented towards improving the quality of life of people with disabilities and elderly and increasing their opportunities for social inclusion in a time of social isolation. Specific goals: - providing access to services at the municipality of Chuprene, intended for people over the age of 65 with limitations or inability to take care of themselves, people with disabilities and their families, as well as people in quarantine and elderly at risk, who are most threatened by COVID-19, while complying with the measures for restriction of people’s movement and mandatory period of social isolation in a state of emergency; - protection of the health of people from the target group and limiting the risk of spread of Coronavirus, by ensuring material and human resources for providing home-based services at the municipality of Chuprene . The project is envisioned to include 14 people from the target group. The activities in the project are: 1. Selection and hiring of staff for provision of services to overcome the effects of Coronavirus; 2 Delivery of food, groceries and essentials, including medication (purchased with the resources of the beneficiaries or other resources, different from those in the contract), payment of utility bills, requesting and receiving urgent administrative services; 3. Transport of the staff, providing the services from/to the homes of the people. Providing personal protective equipment and disinfectants for the staff of the services.
