The project aimed to improve the quality of life and social inclusion opportunities for people with disabilities and the elderly, by providing a network of home-based services and building adequate (material and staffing) capacity to provide them. In view of the unprecedented challenges associated with the pandemic outbreak of COVID 19 disease, additional resources are needed to prevent and provide access to services for vulnerable persons, incl. people with disabilities or self-care who are most at risk of COVID-19, as well as persons with a quarantine period. In the context of the emerging epidemic situation in the country, an increased need for the provision of home services was identified. The activities of the project are aimed at persons for whom there is a social need for hourly services, thus protecting the public interest and meeting the needs of the population to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
