Patronage care for elderly and individuals with disabilities - Mizia Municipality

The project"Patronage Care for the Elderly and the Disabled-Municipality of Mizia"helps reduce the circulation of the COVID-19 epidemic and contributes to overcoming the negative effects of the crisis on residents of the municipality experiencing difficulties as a result of the imposed restrictions.7people are going to be employed in order to provide supportive services at home for the target group.The proj.activities will cover the needs of 47repr.: elderly people over the age of 65 with disabilities,totally or partially incapable self-care;people with disabilities and their families;people and/or families during quarantine period;adults at risk.The overall objective of the project is to provide a network of home-based services on the territory of Mizia Municipality,aiming to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities and the elderly people,and increase their social inclusion opportunities.Specific objectives:providing access to services on the territory of settlements in the municipality of Mizia,intended for vulnerable groups that at the highest risk of infection,in compliance with the measures for restricting the movement of people and in accordance with the conditions during the imperative period of social distancing;protecting the health of the individuals from the target group and limiting the risk of spreading the COVID-19 by providing material and human resources for the provision of home-based services in settlements in the municipality Mizia.Activities:1.Selection+appointment of staff to provide services that will help overcome the consequences of COVID-19.2.Delivery of food+provisions for basic necessities,incl.medicines(purchased with consumer cash or by means other than those stated under the contract),payment of household bills,requesting and receiving urgent administrative services.3.Transport of personnel providing the services from/to the homes persons.4.Provision of personal protective equipment,disinfectants for service providers.
