Socio-economic integration of vulnerable groups

The project aims to create an effective and innovative model for sustainable socio-economic integration of vulnerable groups in the Dryanovo-Tryavna LAG, aimed at improving the quality of life, reducing poverty and stopping the transmission of poverty through generations. Our concept is based on a cross-sectoral approach and a set of complementary activities aimed at solving existing problems for individuals and families from vulnerable groups, combined with the possibility of an individual approach tailored to the needs and desires of target groups. The project includes a number of activities for permanent integration on the labor market - activation measures, vocational training and training in key competencies, providing subsidized employment. Actions will be taken to focus on measures to prevent school dropouts and reintegration into the education system of children and young people. Socio-economic integration is a process that requires sustained and focused efforts for children and families. This is the goal of the set activity for improving the access to social and health services. The project includes a wide range of activities to raise awareness about social and health rights and increase the health culture of the target group. Sustainable integration requires activities to overcome negative stereotypes about the Roma community and promote the cultural identity of Roma as a full-fledged part of the civil society in the municipalities on the territory of the LIG and in Bulgaria.
