Unit for providing integrated services in home environment

Project “Unit for providing integrated services in home environment” is directed at improving the quality of life of 50 disabled persons and people at the age above 65 who are not able to take care of themselves on the territory of Lom Municipality by providing social and health services in home environment. During the 14 months period of implementation an individual support will be assured by providing combined services according to the needs of the beneficiaries in the “Unit for providing integrated services in home environment” in the following directions: - Providing care for disabled and elderly people above the age of 65 years who are in a situation not to be able to take care of themselves and satisfy their daily needs. - Providing support for disabled people or elderly people at the age above 65 who are in a situation of impossibility to take care of themselves in their daily needs and maintaining hygiene of their homes, shopping, preparing food, laundry and other household needs. - Providing support for disabled people or elderly people at the age above 65 who are in a situation of impossibility to take care of themselves, directed to social work and consultations in reference with satisfying needs of organization of their free time and making contacts; - Activities for providing access to social services in the community; cultural, educational and other services, support for social and psychological consultations and others, according to the needs of the person. As a result of the implementation of the complex of activities the quality of life of the disabled people and people above the age of 65 who are in a situation of impossibility to serve themselves will be improved by creating conditions for support of the right for independent life and social inclusion, by respecting their rights, complying with their possibilities and special needs.
