Increasing the staff capacity for the Child protection working area, social services and social assistance - “ASA MRVE” /Agency of Social Assistance – Modern, Responsible, Vital, Effective/

The project was developed in response to the need to upgrade and increase the Agency of Social Assistance (ASA) institutional capacity to realize its public role for the social assistance area, social services and child protection, by creating conditions that allow practicing of new planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and control approaches over the social services and social assistance system. The planned activities target ASA' employees, municipalities, social services and government institutional structures, whose activities take major role in the trending integrated care models. The regional coordinate units created by the project will take ownership over the organization and conduction of the training, considering the wide coverage of targeted group. The establishment of specialized support and crisis intervention teams that include wide range of specialists will provide the opportunity to fully overcome the variety of challenges that accompany the social services of different groups of people – children and adults. The planned over 2 axes specialized training and support will increase the professional competence for the ASA employees and social services teams to more effective and efficient obligations performance. The usage of targeted training over PO 3 for practical work on the informational system to the ASA territorial structures employees, the municipalities and social services providers, will overcome series of problems related to the lack of single database including all aspects of the agency activities. New planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and control approaches will be put into practice, which will result into an objective basis for introduction of new processes and models for planning and implementation of policies of social services area.
