Control on posted workers

This project proposal helps the transposition and the practical implementation of Directive 2014/67/EU. Information will be provided to the posted workers and the posting enterprise in relation to the Bulgarian legislation and the applicable administrative procedures. The capacity of the GLI EA will be enhanced for effective and efficient performance of its functions. To attain the set goals, the project envisages activities in three directions: 1.Improving the knowledge and skills of GLI EA’s staff 2.Raising the awareness of the posting enterprises on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria in relation to the applicable legislation in the country and the administrative requirements for posting of factory and office workers. 3.Raising the awareness of workers, posted on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria, in relation to their rights under the Bulgarian labour law. Additionally, in line with the requirements of the Managing Authority of HRD OP, activities for project organisation and management are planned, as well as ones for information and publicity. The expected project results are the following: 1.A built single official national website / information portal / structured in accordance with the requirements of article 5 of Directive 2014/67/EU. 2.A built register with the information stipulated in article 9 of Directive 2014/67/EU. 3.A developed mechanism for assessment of the risk potential of the posting enterprises from other countries to Bulgaria, with a view to planning the control activity and its integration into the now-functioning GLI EA’s information system and the information portal. 4.A developed mechanism for assessment of a genuine posting, to prevent abuse and circumvention of the law, in line with the requirements of article 4 of Directive 2014/67/EU. 5.Trained at least 300 persons from GLI EA’s staff. 6.Purchased, delivered and put into operation equipment. The project proposal has as its target group the staff of the Agency.
