Bulgarian Medical Association and the Danube partnerships for exchange of innovative practices and experiences

The project proposal "Bulgarian Medical Association and the Danube partnerships for exchange of innovative practices and experiences" is aimed at improving macro-regional cooperation in the region of the Danube river between the Bulgarian Medical Association and the Medical Association - Teleoman (Romania) by transferring and introducing three innovative practices within the Investment priorities 7 which will contribute to the socio-economic integration of marginalized communities. The main activities of the project are: A1: Adaptation and piloting of 3 innovative practices in the field of infectious major and socially diseases associated with marginalized communities. A2: Introduction / transfer of the 3 innovative practices from BMA. A3: Increasing the capacity of partner organizations and stakeholders in terms of innovative practices implemented by the BMA. A4: Evaluation of the results achieved in terms of the applicability of innovative elements / practices implemented under the project. A5: Activities for the dissemination of the project results. Proposals addresses the needs of eligible target groups (TG) of IP 7, namely: - Roma (8470); - people from other countries (900); - people who are victims of discrimination (100); - people living in areas including Low population density, rural and isolated areas, parts of settlements where there is a concentration of problems that create risk of poverty, social exclusion and marginalization (330). The planned project results will contribute to achieving the objectives of Component 2 of the procedure, because they are aimed at improving cross-border cooperation between partner organizations from Bulgaria and Romania in the areas of health, equal opportunities and non-discrimination, working conditions and build administrative capacity in those areas.
