Innovative practices for people with hearing impairments

At this moment in Bulgaria emerges a tendency of lack of highly – qualified vendors of the “social assistant” service. This activity is usually performed by the relatives of the disabled people, who for that reason prolapse from employment and they are also not qualified enough. In the same time the people with disabled hearing need a chance for quality training and implementation of the acquired knowledge and skills through equal participation in the social life and labour market. The target group of the project proposal is disabled people and people with impaired hearing in particular. The partners of “Teza” Ltd. are from Poland – “Sintea S.A.” Jsk. and from Bulgaria “Listen up” foundation and “My dream job” Ltd. The project proposal aims to meet those needs through adapting and validation of existing training course for social assistants in training programme – multimedia study materials and practical part – for training of social assistants, but particularly for people with impaired hearing, exchange of experience, good practices and to provide active social inclusion and equal opportunities for the target group. Activities under the project proposal: Activity one: “Organization and management of the project” Activity two: “Information and communication” Activity three: “Adapting and validation of the curriculum – multimedia study materials and practical part – for training of social assistants, but particularly for people with impaired hearing, starting an Internet platform and pilot training of representatives of the target group”.
