Bulgarian Romanian network for social innovations in garment industry

The project approaches improvement of the work process and quality of the work places in the garment industry, adapting of the workers and entrepreneurs to the changes and ensuring the equal opportunity for inclusion of the vulnerable groups. The aim is the development of environment for adoption and implementation of good practices, social innovations, exchange of partnership methods through the development of Bg-Ro cross border network of employers in the garment industry.The sector faces big challenges due to the world technology development and the aging workforce in Bulgaria. There is a brunch of difficulties in finding and retention of qualified staff.Employers do not invest in social innovations. The partnership is formed by BM 88 LTD and Romanian Association for Technology Transfer and Innovation.Activities with transnational coverage for exchange of good practices will be implemented. As a result the aim of the project for identifying 6 innovative practices and transferring 5 of them in the work process of BM 88 Ltd.New methods for organizing the work process in line with the need of the target groups will be applied.Good EU practices will be researched and educational programme for employers will be elaborated within Activity 1. Activities 2 and 3 has cross border character and envisage exchange of experience and training with Romanian partners, on the spot visits to the garment factories, work discussions and signing of twinning agreements. Validation, adapting and transferring of 5 social innovations will be conducted within Activity 4.The effect of the implementation will be measured in the followed up assessment of the results in Activity 5. Activity 6 envisages dissemination of the achieved results. Activity 7–project management and implementation.Activity 8 envisages dissemination of information and publicity.The achieved aims will satisfy the needs of the target group relevant to IP5 and IP8.
