Transnational partnership for social integration of marginalized communities through the transfer and implementation of social innovations

The project will be implemented under Component 1 and IP 7. The main objective is to provide effective transnational partnership between two organizations of the EU member states - Bulgaria and the Slovak Republic through transfer of social innovations and best practices in order to support socio-economic integration of Roma community with focus on reducing discrimination and aggression. This will be accomplished through the following aims: 1. Identifying innovative EU practices against prejudice and discrimination towards marginalized communities. 2. Identifying innovative practices on the base of the partner’s experience. 3. Increasing partners’ capacity to develop and transfer good practices and social innovation. 4. Strengthening transnational cooperation between partners. 5. Transfer of two social innovations against discrimination and aggression towards Roma community through adaptation and validation. 6. Public information regarding the direct and indirect results of the project 7. Confirming achieved innovative results by an external organization. The project provides activities for: research and identification of innovative methods and EU practices; bilateral capacity improvement and review of partner’s experience; adaptation and validation of two social innovations; external monitoring and estimate of results; activities to inform the public, establishing a network of cooperation. Project activities will contribute to the following direct results: · two identified and transferred innovative practices against discrimination and aggression towards Roma community and also for social and cultural cohesion of the various ethnic groups in society; · Increased capacity of partners · 2 social innovations - adapted and validated (transferred) · Achieved publicity of the project results · Improved and strengthened transnational cooperation between partners
