Social Innovations at "Medical Audit" Executive Agency

With this project proposal „Medical Audit” Executive Agency in partnership with the Dutch NGO “Eurinspect” aims to identify and transfer two social innovations – one in the area of planning and performing risk-based inspections of organizations providing healthcare services and one in the area of patient involvement in the control of quality and safety of healthcare services. The experience of the leading EU countries in the field will be studied – Sweden and the Netherlands. Both social innovations are new to Bulgaria and are going to improve the administrative capacity of the Agency, its effectiveness and efficiency, as well as the knowledge and competencies of the Agency’s staff in a significant and visible way. The project also plans for a research on the experience in the area of three other EU member states, an activity for improvement of the capacity of the partners and the interested parties regarding the development, application, monitoring and evaluation of good practices and innovative approaches by holding a seminar, evaluation of the results achieved and an activity for disseminating of the results on the national and the EU level. Activities for project organization and management and information and publicity are also planned.
