Transnational partnership for employment and growth through pre-incubation and impact investments (PRINCIPAL)

The project is aimed at identifying and transferring innovative practices for Bulgaria through the implementation of which the development of the labour market, the creation of quality jobs in innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and social inclusion will be stimulated. Therefore, a relevant partner has been identified - the first private business incubator in Greece (INCUBATION FOR GROWTH, i4G), which has significant experience in introducing innovative practices related to: (1) pre-incubation (pre-acceleration) of students, (2) corporate social innovations and (3) impact investments. These are the three innovative practices that will be subject to the project by providing a set of activities aimed at identifying and introducing them (after the compulsory stages of exploration, prototyping and piloting, implementation/introduction and sustainability assessment to determine the potential impact of the innovations) among the representatives of the target groups under the project. This activity will be the essence of the project and its effect will be complemented by the envisaged activities for increasing the capacity of the project partners and the stakeholders regarding the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of best practices and innovative approaches, and for dissemination of results among all stakeholders. As a result of the project implementation, in Bulgaria will be transferred practices that have so far been underrepresented or absent (for example, impact investments), while having strong potential both for the development of society and innovative businesses. In addition, by transferring those practices will be laid the basis for the realization of significant positive social and environmental impact in a whole new way - not by providing grants rather than by introducing a new social business-oriented development model.
