Transfer of established practice – dual education for social professions from the federal state of Baden-Württemberg

The main goal of the project is to imporve the transnational cooperation between Germany (Baden-Wuertemberg) and Bulgaria in the field of social services, through transfer of social innovations and good practices. The project proposal aims to increase the access to social services, that are from common interest and it is targeted to: - Persons, occupied in the specialized institutions and working in community social services, that are taking care for disabled people, people above 65 years, incapable for self-service, children, incl with disabilities, children and adults in risk. - People with disabilities, people above 65 years, incapable for self-service, children, incl with disabilities, children and adults in risk. The main project activities are: 1. Adaptation and validation of the social innovations from Germany, as a base for innovative models, practices, services, products and pilot application of the developed innovative approaches and models. 2. Raising the capacity of the partners and stakeholders in relation to development, application, monitoring and evaluation of good practices and innovative approaches. 3. Activities for assessment of the results achieved in terms of the applicability of the innovative elements. 4. Activities for dissemination of the results (positive and / or negative). The project will create preconditions for sustainable and long-term application of the system of dual education in the professions " Social Work Assistant " and "Social assistant". In the frame of the project it is foreseen 5 trainers/teachers for the two professions to be trained, who will apply the method of dual education in long-term; also 30 persons will be trained in the two professions. The training and educational materials will be offered as permanent courses in the Center for professional education of The Association “Federation of the social NGOs in Bulgaria”.
