"INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS FOR SUPPORT VICTIMS OF SEXUAL VIOLENCE"

The overall objective of the project proposal is to improve transnational cooperation between Ireland and Bulgaria through the transfer and implementation of social innovations and models for active social inclusion and equal opportunities for vulnerable groups. The specific objective of the project is to promote transnational cooperation between Bulgaria and Ireland in respect of the exchange of experience, best practices and models to ensure active social inclusion and equal opportunities for vulnerable groups, victims of sexual violence. The project focuses on Thematic objective 9, Investment Priority 8 of the procedure. Within the project two specific social innovations in Southern Ireland will initially be studied and analyzed: "Center for victims of sexual violence" and "Crisis Network for victims of sexual violence" (RCNI). Based on the study transfer of these practices will be performed by preparing a report and developing a 4-module program. Within the program a training visit in the city of Cork, Southern Ireland will be implemented with 20 participants from the target groups, 12 trainers will be trained to apply the innovation, two training seminars for more than 30 persons from the target group will be held. The model of the Center and Network will be piloted in Plovdiv by providing office, hiring an operation manager and associate professionals to test various elements of the two innovations. Innovative practices will be promoted by holding three information days with the participation of 90 persons from the target group, a national conference with the participation of 50 representatives of stakeholders and the planned activities for information and publicity. The logical link between the objectives and activities and the results achieved will be explored by an external evaluation expert / organization.
